I’m taking a break after a busy day and having a little chat with Elle while enjoying my new pre-dinner snack… popcorn. It’s an easy and satisfying snack with lots of nutritional benefits. Popcorn is a whole grain and contains protein, vitamins and minerals, is naturally low in fat and contains no cholesterol. BUT preparation is key. Home-made air popped popcorn is the healthiest way to go, and since I don’t have a microwave I don’t need to worry about additives or contaminants. Go natural with your popcorn and enjoy the crunchy taste. And just for the record, popcorn with toppings or flavorings at the cinema is NOT a good choice.?
