Plank workout for a strong core.
The plank is a great exercise to strengthen your entire core. Unfortunately, a lot of people think that holding a plank for an extended period of time is a functional core exercise. I disagree with that. Our bodies aren’t designed to be contracted for a long time; our bodies are made to move. Let’s add some movement to the plank to make it more challenging and to get stronger for real life.

Try these 5 plank variations once you are able to hold a plank in good form for 30 seconds:
6 x Back & forth shifting
6 x Alternated circles
8 x Alternated arm lifts
8 x Alternated leg lifts
As many reps as possible: Alternated arm and leg lifts
