“While health benefits are many, yoga offers much more than just a way to exercise the body.”– Deepak Chopra

Here’s my take on the coronavirus, I’m taking it very serious and it has a huge impact on my industry. For my business – since it’s a 1-on-1 business – it means that I started verbally cuing my clients for stretching, instead of a hands-on approach, and I don’t bring anymore equipment to their house. If I have clients at my studio, I always wipe down the equipment after they use it. Washing hands is just a given.

I think it’s better to be safe than sorry and these times are asking for equipment free exercises. Yoga is a great option and my friend Jennifer Goldstein @ignite_bikram_yoga is doing an amazing job on keeping her studio disinfected, like I’m sure all other studios and gyms are doing too.

Another option is to workout from home. The downdog app – a very popular yoga beginner app that offers HIIT and Barre workouts – makes all their workouts free until April 1st. https://www.downdogapp.com/ Thanks for that info @ssp7patterson

Ladies – COVID-19 is not an excuse to give up on your healthy lifestyle. You might have to adjust, but there are options. Stay positive and don’t give up on your goals. Keep crushing them!!
