Do you train independently or at the gym?
I train independently either at my house or go to clients’ houses. If it’s a nice day, I like to go outside and train at playgrounds, running tracks, or parks. It’s much more fun and challenging to train in nature.

What made you decide personal training was for you?
I was a heavy smoker for 16 years, but I stopped smoking the day I knew I was pregnant. Shortly after my son was born, I started running and joined a gym. After a couple of weeks, I felt great about my body and myself and wanted to set a good example for my son. I noticed how strong it made me mentally to have a healthy and fit body, and it amazed me to be capapble of doing things I never thought were possible. That made me want to share my passion for fitness and a healthy life-style, so I decided to become a Personal Trainer.

How do you keep your clients focused?
I always add new components to sessions and challenge my clients with games that require body/mind coordination. I also like to educate myself and go to conferences or take classes to be always up-to-date with the latest research and new ideas. Furthermore I set short term and long term goals with every client, and we work hard to reach them.

What type of people do you normally train?
Most of my clients are women in the age range from 25 -65.

In your opinion what is the most effective way to workout?
First of you all you need to have a good attitude and be aware that you’re doing something good for yourself. Have fun and enjoy your workout!  A good effective workout doesn’t need to take a long time, but you need to have a plan and stay focused. It’s important to be knowledgeable and aware which muscles you want train and what you want to accomplish with your workout.

Yes, I am accepting new clients, although only for day time sessions.

What does your fitness regimen look like?
I usually walk or run with my dog daily for 2-3 miles. Right now I’m really into HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) because it includes a cardio and strength component and works the entire body in short time. I also regularly go to Bikram yoga to work on my flexibility and balance. If I’m too busy to schedule a workout, I squeeze in bodyweight exercises wherever I can. For example, I do push-ups while waiting for the water to boil or squats while drying my hair. I always try to keep moving.

What are your personal fitness goals?
Keeping up my running pace and maintaining a fit and healthy body.
