99% true! We all have abs. They are a large muscle group that help to protect our inner organs and maintain an erect posture. But if you can see your abs depends mainly on your body fat percentage. Abs exercises are important for a strong core, but if you want to show them off you first have to get rid off that extra layer around your midesction. And the best way to do that is with cleaning up your diet:
– eat whole foods as often as possible
– avoid sugary food, baked goods and refined carbs
– drink more water
– eat a high-protein diet
– avoid sugary drinks and limit alcohol intake.
Start in the kitchen and then follow a good workout routine. I’m all for compound exercises to build an overall strong body and core. ???
