Morning smoothies are my safe bet to get my greens in. They are low in calories and fat, and it’s hard to drink too much of them. Fruits are also a great addition to the smoothie, but you need to be aware of the portion size and fruit type.
Tropical fruits like mangoes or pineapples are very high in sugar. If you want to lose weight or keep your blood sugar under control, use them sparingly. Low sugar fruits like apples or berries are a great alternative.
